BESCHREIBUNG

The Tower is RoboJob's standalone CNC automation cell, and its distinguishing idea is that it automates more than the workpiece. Clamping devices and tools go through it too, which is what lets a high-mix, low-volume shop run unattended: the changeover that would normally need an operator happens inside the cell. It is built around a vertical store served by a robot with RoboJob's E-Grip, a servo gripper that sets clamping force automatically and checks whether a workpiece is correctly positioned, and that switches between workpieces, clamping devices and tools without manual intervention. Handled weight runs from 0 to 165 kg, across blocks, discs, shafts and pallets, and the trays are fully adjustable. Capacity is the point of the vertical format: up to 14 m2 of usable storage and no less than 6,960 kg of load capacity on a footprint that does not change with height. The first generation came in 3.5 m and 4.6 m; the second generation offers 3.5 m, 4.1 m and 4.7 m, all sharing that footprint. RoboJob states the Tower works with any CNC machine and names Mazak, Emco, Fanuc, Haas, Hedelius, DN Solutions and Okuma among the brands it serves, with no exclusive tie to any of them. It has been sold since 2017 with more than 150 installations worldwide.
