BESCHREIBUNG
TACBOT is Sastra Robotics' portable test-automation robot: a tabletop, plug-and-play system that physically operates smart phones, wearables and point-of-sale terminals to test their interfaces the way a person would. Its point is portability. Where Sastra's QUACO machines are cabinet-sized test benches, TACBOT is light enough to carry, sets up quickly and runs on a desk - so testing can happen at a workbench, at home, or wherever the device under test happens to be, with remote login for operating it from elsewhere. It simulates the full range of real user actions rather than just taps: touch interaction with touchscreens, touch-less gestures such as hovering, side button actuation, and power plug-in and unplug. For banking work it handles card swipe, insert and tap - including a card multiplexer to simulate several different customers' cards - multi-key operation, and even writes customer signature samples with its finger. Two variants are sold, both for screens up to 6 inches. TACBOT Standard uses force-controlled fingers at fixed 160, 240 and 360 g settings (plus or minus 50 g) and has neither computer vision nor an onboard computer, so it cannot run standalone. TACBOT Premium adds integrated computer vision and an onboard computer for standalone vision processing, and its fingers are continuously controllable from 0 to 360 g to plus or minus 10 g. Both plug into the QUACO test suite to plan, script, execute and report test sequences, with integrated OCR and icon recognition.
