ROBO Fork20 ist ein Industrial-Robot von Nakanishi Metal Works (NKC). Er ist für Intralogistik, Beladen, Materialhandhabung ausgelegt. Eckdaten: 3600 kg, 420 min Laufzeit, 2000 kg Traglast.

ROBO Fork20 (RF20) is NKC's driverless forklift for the gaps that indoor AGVs leave: covered loading berths, passages between buildings and outdoor yards. NKC pitches it as automating the 'last 50 metres' of site transport that is still done by people or light trucks. Large 250 mm off-road tyres let it cross 15 mm steps and climb 5% slopes, and it carries up to 2,000 kg on the front forks or 1,000 kg front and rear for two-way runs such as parts out and empty pallets back. It maps its surroundings autonomously, so no floor work, reflectors or beacons are normally needed, and three laser scanners give 360-degree detection with slow-down and stop control for shared walkways. A rear hoist supports battery exchange and simple recovery on site. The truck is 3,325 mm long and 1,230 mm wide, 2,485 mm tall with forks lowered, weighs about 3,600 kg, lifts to 3,000 mm and travels at up to 120 m/min. A 48 V / 575 Ah battery gives about 7 hours of running and recharges on a contact-type automatic charger in about 11 hours. It handles light rain and blown-in rain but is not rated for full outdoor use in direct sun, heavy rain or strong wind.
