BESCHREIBUNG
Ottobot ist ein Delivery-Robots von Ottonomy. Er ist für Intralogistik, Medizinische Assistenz, Navigation ausgelegt. Eckdaten: 90.7 kg, 300 min Laufzeit, 120 kg Traglast.
Ottobot is an autonomous delivery robot from Ottonomy that carries goods inside buildings and outdoors between them. Hospitals, labs and pharmacies use it to move blood samples, medicines, patient meal trays and telemetry equipment; industrial campuses use it for spare parts, tools and vaccine or chemical samples; and parcel operators and airports use it for last-mile and food deliveries. The robot is a four-wheel-drive electric platform carrying a modular cabin that can be fitted with several mechanically locked compartments, insulated, and wrapped in the customer's branding. Compartments open by RFID/HID badge, PIN or biometric check, which keeps a chain of custody for samples and drugs. Ottonomy describes the navigation as Level 4 autonomy driven by its Contextual AI software, which fuses 3D LiDAR, cameras and layered safety sensors with detailed maps so the robot can work where GPS is unavailable. It integrates with elevators and automatic doors, and its four independently steered wheels allow a sideways 'crab mode' and zero-radius turns. When its battery runs low it docks itself to charge. A 2023 trade-magazine profile of the Ottobot 2.0 gave its size as 1,090 x 750 x 1,320 mm, an empty weight of 90.7 kg, up to 120 kg of cargo, a software-limited top speed of 6-8 km/h and about 5 hours of operation per charge. Named users include Wellstar Kennestone hospital, CVG and Pittsburgh airports, Munich Airport, Posten Norge, DPD and Sodexo.
