BESCHREIBUNG

The D3 is the smaller of Neuromeka's two delta robots — the spider-like arrangement used wherever things have to be picked off a moving belt quickly. Four axes, 3 kg of payload, and a working area 800 mm across and 300 mm deep with the wrist turning plus or minus 180 degrees. Speed is the point of a delta, and here it is quoted honestly against load: on the standard 25 x 305 x 25 mm path the D3 completes a cycle in 0.30 s empty, 0.45 s with 1 kg, 0.51 s with 2 kg and 0.55 s at its full 3 kg. It repeats to 0.1 mm, weighs 60 kg and runs on AC servo motors with absolute encoders. Neuromeka builds the frame around a custom vibration-suppression design, which is what keeps a fast delta accurate, and sells it as part of a line: grippers, conveyors, vision and PLC integration.
