MUV is Agora Robotics' autonomous UV-C (ultraviolet germicidal irradiation) disinfection robot for healthcare facilities, which the company calls the fastest UVGI disinfection robot on the market. A mobile base carries a tower of UV-C lamps - which Agora says are the most powerful of any autonomous UVGI platform - to disinfect room surfaces, complementing fixed UV-C units and air-circulation disinfection systems. Machine-learning algorithms based on sensor data plan the optimal route and exposure time for each surface, and the robot adapts and learns when new objects enter the environment. Without human intervention it cuts the disinfection cycle by 15 minutes per room, treating about 25 m2 in 10 minutes, and runs for 5 hours per charge; it reports on the work carried out and receives automatic cloud software updates.
