BESCHREIBUNG
Misty II is a social robot created by Misty Robotics, representing the company’s vision for emotionally intelligent personal robots. First introduced in 2018, the robot has evolved through multiple iterations, with the current generation focusing on AI interaction, developer extensibility, and human-robot communication. Unlike single-purpose service robots, Misty II is designed to operate in human-centric environments, performing companionship, assistance, and interaction tasks that traditionally require social intelligence. Its development reflects a broader industry shift toward general-purpose robotics, where adaptability, learning capability, and safe human interaction are prioritized over rigid automation.
