Jaguar Lite is Dr Robot's Jaguar platform without the articulated arms - a lighter tracked robot for indoor and outdoor work needing faster manoeuvrability. It weighs 13.5 kg, drives at up to 5.5 km/h with zero-radius turns, climbs slopes over 45 degrees, stairs and 180 mm steps, and survives a 900 mm drop onto concrete in a sealed, weather- and water-resistant chassis rated -30 to +40 C. It carries 13 kg or drags 30 kg, navigates with a 5 Hz GPS and 9-DOF IMU, streams a 640 x 480 camera with audio over 802.11n, takes an optional laser scanner, and runs 3 hours nominal (optional 6) on a 22.2 V 10 Ah LiPo battery. A ready-to-use control and navigation application, gamepad control with an optional head-mounted display or NVIDIA Shield controller, and a full SDK with sample code for Microsoft Robotics Studio, Visual Studio, ROS, NI LabVIEW, MATLAB and Java are supplied.
