BESCHREIBUNG

The Galileo C1-W is the wheel-legged version of the C1, and the trade it makes is the clearest illustration of why Galileo offers both forms of every model. It adds 6.5 kg over the legged C1, reaching 28.5 kg, and in exchange runs at 5 m/s instead of 3 and covers more than 15 km instead of 10 — a 67% speed gain and 50% more range for a quarter more weight. Climbing ability is unchanged at 30-degree slopes and 20 cm steps, because the legs still articulate; the wheels sit at the foot and take over when the ground allows. Payload, battery, sealing, compute and interfaces are identical to the C1, so the choice between them is purely about whether the route is mostly drivable or mostly not.
