The Four DRobot is Four DRobotics' AI-enabled autonomous security vehicle, an all-electric, all-season outdoor uncrewed ground vehicle designed to replace manned patrol vehicles in physical security. It is built to patrol and monitor the perimeters of critical infrastructure such as borders, airports, nuclear power stations, refineries and military bases, applying the four Ds of physical security: detect, identify and report a threat; deter it with a sustained security presence; delay it by warning that it has been identified and reported; and deny access by engaging the security system. The vehicle runs Four DRobotics' AVaaS software, which supports drive-by-wire remote control, tele-operation with a human in the loop, autonomous operation and collaborative teams of autonomous vehicles, with missions planned, deployed and monitored from an AVaaS C2 workstation; an embedded platform motion controller and a multi-access edge computer run the software on board. Four DRobotics describes the Four DRobot as its first commercial product, in development and tested at Invest Ottawa's Area X.O all-season autonomous vehicle test facility in Ottawa.
