BESCHREIBUNG
Fleet Cleaner ROV ist ein Cleaning-Robots von Fleet Robotics. Er ist für Reinigung ausgelegt. Eckdaten: erschienen 2017.
The Fleet Cleaner robot is Fleet Robotics' remotely operated hull-cleaning vehicle (ROV) for seagoing ships. It attaches to the hull with magnets, so it can clean above and below the waterline, on vertical sides, on the flat bottom, on strongly curved sections and in the gap between the vessel and the quay, and it holds on in strong currents and waves. It removes biofouling with pressure-adjusted waterjets supplied with filtered seawater through an umbilical, with no brushes or cavitation jets that would damage soft antifouling coatings, and its flexible cleaning heads move in all directions. All removed fouling is captured and pumped back to the support vessel, where it is filtered and disposed of. The hydraulically powered ROV is operated from a Fleet Robotics work vessel or from the company's 24/7 remote control centre in Delft, using lights, front and rear cameras, positioning sensors and hull drawings to plan the cleaning; the company describes high-accuracy navigation and autonomous driving. It covers up to 2,000 square metres per hour, is designed for operation down to 50 m, and its ATEX-certified version cleans tankers at terminals during loading and unloading. The service launched commercially in Dutch ports in 2017.
