COVID INOTA is Inovasyon Mühendislik's autonomous UV-C disinfection robot, sold under the slogan "zero contact, full disinfection" for enclosed, busy spaces such as hospitals, schools, shopping malls, offices, stadiums, factories, airports and metro stations. The company adapted it from a robot built for industrial use. The robot first maps its working area. It then checks the location of the area, the authorisation of the person in charge and that no living beings are present, enters, and disinfects at set points for set times. If a living creature enters during disinfection it detects this and deactivates itself. When finished it turns off its lights and notifies authorised staff.
