Corvus One for Cold Chain is the freezer version of Corvus Robotics' autonomous inventory drone, purpose-built to run continuous, frequent inventory counts in freezer and cold-storage environments down to -20 F (-29 C) so that people and material-handling equipment do not have to spend long periods in extreme cold. The drone and its charging dock live inside the freezer between counts, so equipment never crosses from ambient into the cold, optics stay free of condensation and flights start without a warm-up cycle. It combines a battery architecture with integrated thermal regulation for consistent discharge and flight time in the cold, a sub-zero optical engine and high-resolution sensors calibrated to read barcodes and labels through ice, frost and condensation, and upgraded flight-control AI for stable flight alongside industrial blowers, with vision-based navigation and obstacle avoidance needing no fixed infrastructure. It is rated for continuous operation from -20 F to ambient, supports FIFO compliance and traceability, deploys in under four weeks, and Kroger has used it in live freezer operations.
