CMR-4T is the larger Collaborative Mobile Robot from JNOV Tech, a battery-powered multidirectional unit rated at 4,000 kg, with a listed maximum of 16,000 kg. Three or more robots can lift a load without wheels and move it with up to four units under one operator, and one robot can tow loads on castors. It moves from 1 mm/s to 2 km/h, positions loads to under 1 mm and has a 75 mm lifting stroke. Wireless synchronisation lets the robots fit loads of any shape without programming, and car, crab and autorotation modes cover narrow spaces, lateral approaches and alignment. A semi-automatic mode follows painted floor lines using optical sensors.
