BESCHREIBUNG
The Ava Security Robot is Ava Robotics' autonomous security platform, unveiled at the Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2022 in Atlanta in partnership with Johnson Controls, whose access-control and video-surveillance products it integrates with. Ava positions it as bringing access control, video surveillance and robotics together in one solution: the robot conducts rounds, makes facility inspections, provides visible deterrence, captures incidents and improves reporting, so security teams spend less time on observation and more on responding to actual threats and physical breaches. It applies AI on top of unified access control and video surveillance to carry out autonomous event response, send automatic alerts and monitor suspicious activity. The robot carries sensors, a touchscreen and cameras on Ava's own mobile base, and Johnson Controls used Ava's cloud APIs to integrate it into a wider security system - so it can respond to alarms such as forced doors and support rounding scheduled from the software JCI's customers already run.
