Athos is HETWIN's rail-guided feed robot for small to medium farms, part of a two-stage hay-TMR and silage-TMR system. A pre-mixer with a specially developed cutting system first turns long hay or silage bales into a homogeneous fresh mixed ration within a few minutes; the Athos robot then distributes the fresh ration to programmed groups at intervals through the day. HETWIN says this gives all animals a fresh mixed ration, increasing feed intake and milk production, improving animal health and distributing feed fairly. Athos is shown fitted with a plough.
