The ASYSTR 5C is the mid-size model in Systemantics' ASYSTR family of Indian-designed six-axis collaborative robot arms. It handles 5 kg with a reach of 850 mm and a repeatability of 0.1 mm, giving it a larger working area than the 3C for handling and machine-tending cells. Like the rest of the family, it is built to the ISO 10218-1 collaborative standard so it can work beside people without a fence, and it is light enough to be moved between jobs or mounted on a mobile platform. Programming uses the same Android tablet app as the other ASYSTR models, and the electronics and software are standardised across the range to simplify service. Systemantics positions the 5C for CNC machine tending, material handling, inspection, dispensing and palletising, including pick-and-place from conveyors into sorted bins in warehouse and e-commerce settings.
