APP-HLC-DL-01 is DF Automation & Robotics' healthcare delivery robot, a 12-layer cabinet on an autonomous mobile base developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to carry meals, medicine and supplies to patients so nurses and other frontliners spend less time on routine runs and have less exposure to infection. The food-grade SUS 304 stainless steel cabinet holds 12 removable 610 x 470 mm trays carrying up to 12 kg each and 150 kg in total, with four LED indicators per layer showing which tray to take and contactless sensors beside the door to acknowledge collection. A 10.1-inch tablet shows expressions and status. The robot measures 853 x 525 mm bumper to bumper and 1,557.5 mm high, and weighs 140 kg including its battery.
