AMR Galaxy R2.0 is an omnidirectional autonomous mobile robot with a built-in lifter from Robomania, a Coimbatore maker of AMRs and AGVs. The low, flat robot drives under racks, trolleys or loads, lifts them and carries them between points in factories and warehouses. It carries up to 1,000 kg and travels at 0.1 to 1.5 m/s. Navigation is by SLAM natural navigation, so no magnetic tape or floor markers are needed, and the omnidirectional drive lets it move sideways and turn in tight spaces. A 360-degree safety LiDAR monitors the area around the robot to prevent collisions with people and objects, detects people in loading and unloading zones, and can guard entry to restricted areas. Further safety features are multicolour indicator lights around the body with a buzzer, overload protection and emergency switches. Robomania positions the robot for factory intralogistics and warehouse material movement.
