The AMR-AI-PJ-UVGI Robot is an MSI autonomous mobile robot that disinfects rooms and air with 253.7 nm ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI), without chemicals. Ten germicidal lamps rated for 6,000 hours treat both surfaces and air, and the battery allows up to 3 hours of continuous irradiation. It drives itself to operating rooms, wards and other areas and stays to disinfect on a schedule. AI detection switches between air and surface modes, and voice and light prompts keep people safe while it works. Navigation uses lidar and Intel RealSense depth cameras, and it can carry other function modules for medicine delivery and transport. It measures 62.6 x 59.7 x 117 cm, travels at 1.3 m/s, runs 6 hours per charge and recharges in 2 hours, with a quick-charge battery as an option. The robot won a Taiwan Excellence award, and MSI and Intel donated one to a senior home in 2020.
