The Muratec A4 is a forklift-type automated guided vehicle from the A-Series, built as an everyday pallet mover for warehouses, distribution centres and factories. It moves loads horizontally and vertically, stacks them in high racks and handles floor-to-floor work, lifting loads as high as 19 ft (about 5.8 m). Besides pallets it carries rolls, carts, containers and other goods. A4 systems come with Muratec's AGV traffic-control software, which aims to cut labour costs, reduce product damage and speed up shipping while improving accuracy. Muratec handles custom development, site installation and training. Its product photos show several fork and mast configurations, including forks over support legs, straddle legs and counterbalanced versions.
