The DUS CV2000 is Demcon unmanned systems' compact, fully electric uncrewed surface vessel for high-precision inland work. Its shallow draft and low-profile hull let it navigate autonomously in turbulent, confined and overgrown water such as floodplains, groin fields and creeks, for hydrographic, environmental and asset-management missions. It measures 1.90 x 0.60 x 0.75 m with a 0.25 m draught and weighs 100 kg dry. Two 3 kW rim-driven main thrusters and a 3 kW bow thruster give a top speed of 4.5 knots, and a 3.5 kWh lithium battery lasts 10 hours (43 km) at 2.3 knots, recharging in under 2 hours. The impact-resistant HDPE hull is built like a flight case and carries a moonpool for hull-mounted ADCP, side-scan sonar, echo sounders, sub-bottom profilers and water-sampling tools. A 32-line lidar, a four-sensor 360-degree camera and AIS feed object detection and collision avoidance, and Demcon's patented dynamic positioning holds station hands-free near shorelines.
