BellaBot is Pudu Robotics' cat-faced restaurant delivery robot, first shown at CES in January 2020 and the successor to PuduBot. It carries food on four trays to tables, brings dishes back and can cruise a room serving snacks, while a screen face with dozens of cat expressions, touch-sensitive ears, voice and light cues make it part of the guest experience. The robot measures 56.5 x 53.7 x 129 cm, weighs 55 kg and carries up to 40 kg, 10 kg per tray, on trays of 41 x 50 cm. It runs about 13 hours unloaded, charges in 4.5 hours and has a swappable battery for all-day service. Speed is adjustable from 0.5 to 1.2 m/s. It navigates with either LiDAR SLAM or visual SLAM (ceiling markers, up to 8 m high), and three RGBD cameras plus the LiDAR give 3D obstacle avoidance with a stop response of about 0.5 seconds. An automotive-grade independent suspension keeps the trays steady. Staff call it through the PUDU Link app, push-button callers or 4G watches. BellaBot is the model behind several of the largest restaurant robot fleets on record. It was followed in 2024 by BellaBot Pro, which adds an advertising screen and visual tray detection.
