Awabot Pro, formerly BeamPro, is Awabot's life-size mobile telepresence robot for events and large, busy or noisy spaces such as conference centres, stadiums and showrooms. Its height and metal chassis let it represent the remote user prominently and move safely through crowds, and Awabot can design and apply custom branding wraps for short events or long-term use. A 17-inch screen with a wide field of view and three-level digital zoom, an HDR wide-angle camera and HDR navigation camera, and six anti-echo, noise-reducing microphones are tuned for comfortable conversation in noisy environments. It travels at up to 3.2 km/h, runs 8 hours per charge and can park itself automatically on its charging station. Two WiFi cards handle roaming between access points and a USB port takes a 4G key; users drive it from a computer, tablet or smartphone and can share content from their computer to its screen. It weighs 50 kg and measures 1.58 m tall, 38 cm wide and 63.5 cm long. Awabot uses it to bring hospitalised children and other remote guests to events such as Formula 1 races, rugby and football matches and the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
