Svaayatt is a torpedo-shaped autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) from Planys Technologies, listed under the company's defence line. It is intended for magnetic and acoustic ranging of naval vessels, anti-submarine warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, mine countermeasures, search and rescue and hydrographic surveys. The vehicle weighs 110 kg and runs for up to 10 hours in ranging operations on a rechargeable 5 kWh battery, which can be upgraded. It is offered in 100 m and 300 m depth variants and has a modular, expandable payload bay. Svaayatt works in three modes: following a pre-planned path autonomously, remote control, or resting on the seabed on its adjustable-height skid frame as a resident sensor platform. Communication is by RF at the surface and USBL acoustic links underwater. Missions are planned and monitored in Planys' mission control and command software, which includes a primary flight display (PFD) interface.
