The PIR-LX001 is CSG Smart's train inspection robot for metro, high-speed rail and light-rail depots. It combines an omnidirectional chassis with a lightweight six-axis robot arm to reach every inspection point on a train's undercarriage and sides. 3D vision and laser scanning identify defects on the train body and underframe, and inspection data is uploaded in real time to the control centre for central storage and processing. It navigates by laser with precise positioning, supports routine, special, ad-hoc and remote-controlled inspection, and its four-wheel, eight-drive chassis moves in any direction and handles obstacles and slopes.
