Optima-2 is Zarnitza's educational six-axis robot arm for teaching industrial robotics and automation methods. It carries 3 kg over a 622 mm reach with +/-0.02 mm repeatability, moves its joints at up to 180 degrees per second with a typical tool speed of 1 m/s, is IP54-rated, runs below 65 dB and mounts on a desk. The basic set includes a machine-vision module, a training table base, electromechanical and pneumatic grippers, lab-work accessories and a teaching manual; an extended version adds a built-in personal computer.
