LEM Surgical Dynamis

Dynamis is LEM Surgical's robotic surgical system for hard-tissue surgery, beginning with the spine: an integrated, navigation-based robotic platform with real-time tracking for cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral procedures. LEM describes it as surgical humanoid technology, aimed at precision, adaptability, ease of use and efficiency. The system has three robotic arms on a single cart: two computer-controlled arms provide surgical robotic guidance while a third holds and controls the navigation camera, so tracking and guidance are integrated in one machine. The cart sits partly underneath the surgical table and uses bilateral elevator mechanisms to deploy, fold and secure the arms. Dynamis works with different intra-operative imaging systems by receiving DICOM images, and its software handles all motion control, navigation, data storage, user and case management, and safety functions. It received US FDA clearance (K243326) in April 2025 and a further clearance (K260369), and is in clinical use and available for sale in the United States. LEM designs and manufactures it in Bern, Switzerland, and frames its goals around the 'quintuple aim': better clinical outcomes, patient and provider satisfaction, financial sustainability and health equity.
