Hi everyone! This is Top 3D Shop, and in this video, we will tell you about the Intamsys Funmat Pro 610HT FDM 3D printer.
INTAMSYS is a well-known manufacturer of professional and industrial FDM 3D printers capable of processing high-temperature thermoplastic polymers such as PEEK, PEKK, Ultem, and so forth. The company's lineup includes 3D printers of various sizes, from desktop devices to large industrial equipment.
The 610HT is the flagship model in the Funmat Pro series. This industrial high-performance printer is designed for manufacturing functional parts for testing and small-scale production.
Users of the Funmat Pro 610 HT have access to ultra-high heating modes for the print bed and build chamber with temperatures reaching 300 degrees Celsius. The dual extruder is capable of processing high-
performance polymers with a melting point of up to 500 degrees.
The build volume of the machine is 610 x 508 x 508 millimeters, it can print layers with a minimum height of 50 microns.
The extruder of the device is equipped with two nozzles — the Funmat Pro is ready to print with two high-temperature plastics simultaneously, for example, polyetheretherketone and a support material specially designed for it by Intamsys engineers.
The particular interest of professional users in printing with PEEK is related to the physical properties of the material. It is lightweight, yet strong and durable at the same time. As one of the applications, PEEK is used in experimental medicine to repair damaged spinal cords.
Apart from that, the printer’s extruder carries a liquid cooling system, which helps keep nozzles from clogging.
The range of supported materials also includes polycarbonate, nylon, thermoplastic polyurethane, and carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Naturally, the machine can also handle more conventional ABS,
