Automated Order Picking: Medline Deploys Swisslog AutoStore System

In today’s fast-paced e-commerce world, speed is everything. Swisslog solutions with AutoStore enable high speed, goods-to-person order fulfillment. Powered by robots, AutoStore empowered by Swisslog is 5x faster than humans. To keep up with the steady flow of products, humans help complete and sort at the pick stations. In 2013, @medline Industries Inc., the largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies in the United States, partnered with Swisslog to transform its supply chain and increase capacity. Working with Swisslog automation experts, Medline became the first company in the United States to deploy a Swisslog robot-based AutoStore system.
