The SharpShooter is Verdant Robotics' precision application implement, and its pitch is in the name: it aims before it shoots. Where a conventional boom sprayer covers a whole bed through fixed nozzles, the SharpShooter identifies individual plants and fires at chosen targets, which is what lets growers cut chemistry use dramatically rather than marginally. Its Aim & Apply system is the core of that. A 3D Crop Shield builds a real-time do-not-apply zone around each crop plant, so weeds can be treated close in and even under the canopy without hitting the crop. Adaptive targeting adjusts shot placement and volume on the fly according to target size and observed results, Crop Band Intelligence controls exactly where inputs land within the crop band, and Crop Proximity Control sets how close to the crop centre shots are permitted, tuned to crop stage and risk tolerance. The system keeps learning from field data, and over-the-air updates roll improvements out between seasons. As hardware it is built for farm reality: IP67+ waterproof components, powerwash-safe, modular with swappable parts, and turrets rated for over three years of normal use. It covers up to seven acres an hour, comes in 20-foot and 24-foot widths, is light enough to enter damp fields early without heavy soil compaction, and attaches to any 5-series tractor on a standard three-point hitch.
