The Vbot Super Robot Dog is a household quadruped from Vita Dynamics, launched as 'Datou BoBo' and pitched as the first smart robot dog that needs no remote control. Instead of being steered, it follows its owner, finds its own path and takes voice instructions, using a binocular depth camera, a 360-degree 16-line LiDAR, a four-microphone array and UWB positioning, with 128 TOPS of on-board compute running spatial, language and vision-behaviour models. Fourteen self-developed high-torque joints let it climb stairs and cross rough or slippery ground at up to 14 km/h. It carries up to 12 kg, tows up to 100 kg - such as a camping wagon - and its expansion backplate takes a backpack, a camera on a standard 1/4-inch mount or a tow hitch, so it doubles as a walking camera rig, cargo carrier and home guard that records video while patrolling. An expression screen, ear lights and animation-inspired movement give it a pet-like character. The robot stands 613 x 339 x 569 mm and weighs about 16 kg. A 594 Wh battery gives 3-5 hours of movement. It launched in China on 23 December 2025 at RMB 12,988 (RMB 9,988 founder price) and began deliveries in May 2026, with a global version planned.
