G5 is Yeefung's sorting AGV. Its HD camera images the floor and compares it with a previously learned layout to steer in real time, so no reflectors, spots or tape need installing, and it can also follow QR codes. It measures 970 x 746 x 240 mm, weighs 230 kg, carries 500 kg, travels at up to 1.5 m/s, and positions to +/-10mm. Power comes from a 48V Lithium 45Ah battery with automatic or manual charging; it communicates over WLAN, and E-stops, non-contact and mechanical protection plus a SICK TIM320 laser obstacle scanner keep it safe.
