The StoreBiter HDS ('Hive and Drone') is GEBHARDT's mother-daughter pallet shuttle system for high-density pallet storage. A high-performance mother shuttle carries a daughter shuttle, which drives into storage channels to store and retrieve pallets and mesh boxes up to 1,500 kg - up to 25 pallets deep. Its low overall height suits buildings where stacker cranes are not economical, it runs FIFO or LIFO with sequence-controlled storage and retrieval, accelerates at up to 1.2 m/s2, connects to conveyors or AGVs and uses no lithium-ion batteries; the scalable mother-daughter design adapts to any building structure.
