BESCHREIBUNG
The RQ-35 Heidrun is Sky-Watch's frontline tactical ISTAR aircraft: a hand-launched fixed-wing UAV small enough to carry in a backpack and fly single-handed, with more than 500 missions behind the platform. Its design assumption is that the frontline is contested. Distributed edge compute processes imagery onboard rather than shipping raw data back over a link that may not survive, which keeps the aircraft useful under electronic-warfare pressure and in GNSS-degraded conditions. Mission Software then turns what it collects into AI-assisted workflows for live ISTAR, handoff and reporting. It carries a triple-lens optical zoom sensor, flies up to three hours and transmits up to 50 km line of sight, launching by hand and recovering in a deep stall so it needs no runway or catapult. It interoperates with ATAK, DELTA, SitaWare and other C4I systems over STANAG 2934.
