Automower 310 Mark II is a robotic mower rated for lawns of about 1,000 m². The working area is set with a buried perimeter wire. It cuts a 22 cm swathe at 20 mm to 50 mm, cut by 3 pivoting razor blades. Slopes are handled to 40 % inside the working area, 15 % at the boundary. A charge gives about 60 min of mowing and takes roughly 60 min to put back, from a 2.1 Ah battery. It runs at 59 dB(A), quiet enough to work while people are outside and rated IPX5 against water. The machine weighs 9.4 kg. Husqvarna puts running cost at about 8 kWh a month at maximum use. It is managed from the Automower Connect app over Bluetooth®, with firmware delivered over the air. Security is a PIN code, an alarm and lift and tilt sensors.
